Rbk 8.0.8 Stick Demo for dealers

Just wondering if any other dealers have sent away for their free Rbk 8.0.8 Demo stick through the Rbk Purepower site. I submitted my order about two weeks ago and havent heard or received anything yet.

No way in hell thats true anymore. I doubt that we're in the top 20 for account size in New England for Reebok/CCM. Definitely true in the past though because we never got a demo for the original O-stick. Still trying to convince the boss to just throw it up on E-bay :lol:

Not sure if anyone else has but i just got confirmation today that the sticks will be shipped out on monday.. So hopefully by mid week i'll be demoing the 8.0.8

Its the opposite for me, I prefer the S17 a lot more.

8-0-8 is nothing fantastic for me..

The main reason I like it more than the S17 is for the blade. I prefer CCM blades over Easton and it appears that the 8.0.8 retail will have something similar to the high end CCM blades... It's tough to compare a pro stock to retail, when the blade on my pro stock is clearly a different blade. As far as shooting, they're both decent. It kicks on par with most highend OPSs but nothing special.

ye i love the rbk blades for some reason, hows the kick compared to the 9k? they changed the ports shapes a little right so that might affect the flex a lil in my opinion

The top 2, maybe 3 ports have some give in them so the kickpoint is a little further down but it's not very noticeable in shooting. I dont think it's anything special but it is definitely better than the 9K, but I thought that stick was horrible.

I took a couple shots with TBL's last night and came away unimpressed. It just didnt seem to load up for me.

alright cool maybe i'll go with the 10k in the end, is it doing the thing where the ports make it feel super stiff when u flex it?
