Im thinking on getting the AK-27 Shaft with a Johnson Blade now...

If you're buying it at a store then they'll do it for you. If not you should use a heat gun to heat up the glue on the blade and the shaft a little, then it will slide right in.

The glue should already be on the blade, and if it's not then you can buy some form the store or get this stuff (or similar): http://www.hockeymonkey.com/ar-gluesticks.html

It's just standard hot glue, any home improvement or craft store should have it. But the blade should come with some on there.

If money is a real concern, I think the 2 piece, custom shaft and wood blade option is most excellent. I've known a few people with the s11 who liked it btw.

Or you can find a "OPS" with a broken blade and convert it into a 2piece using some 8 page thread that I'll dig up in a bit. Can save you quite some coin, especially if you are willing to dumpster dive ;).

well guys, i had a store credit at my lhs, they had no more ak27's....so i went with the johnson ops.....

used 3 times already.....and u guessed it...

i jus broke my one95 on the blade...lukily it was on the 30 day...ive broken 4 1pieces in 2 years now..i think im gunna buy shaft nd wood blade combos now

Unless you are playing once a month, 4 sticks in 2 years is actually pretty good.
