Call Gunzo's at the Morton Grove store. If anyone in Chicago can do it quickly and on the spot it's them. The other possibility would be Jerry's Warehouse near Shaumberg. I've never been to Jerry's but I hear it's a pretty good store.

Good luck in your playoffs, as long as you're not playing against me!

Hey Irish. I play in Dundalk too. I agree, the proshop is pretty poor alright. For anything skate related I usually go with www.noicingsports.com have a look at their website it's got loads of info all their services.

There you can order a single runner and they'll throw in the sharpening for free (however you like your skates sharpened). For a single runner it costs in and around $30 maybe a little more....dunno how much the LS2.1 runners go for there. Shipping for a single runner to Ireland won't cost you more than 10 euro and they're pretty quick about it too. Should be fairly straight forward to fit once you get it in the post.

I've used them before for runners and replacing holders and they're pretty quick and have good customer service.

Just means you wouldn't have to lug your skates with you when you're headed to Chicago.

You have to get a pair. If you get only one then your legs will be off balance because of all the sharpening that have occurred on the steel you already had. Order two and have them sharpened together at the same shop.

Yes. My mistake....of course interpathway is correct. So a pair will cost you about $60 and $26.50 to get shipped.
