Graf Pants

Recommended Posts

Anyone have a pair of either the G700 or G500? I've seen the old G700 model (2004ish) around and they were really built like a pro model pant, much like the old Jofa's. Was curious how the newer models are (as seen on hockeymonkey).

I have a pair of new 700's and they're superb. Plenty of protection; well-built. They do seem a bit longer than some but still allow movement with no problems. I do like the zippers which make getting dressed easier IMO.

I have a pair of Graf 700's and they are great pants. As already stated they tend to be a little longer than most other brands however they are among the most mobile of hockey pants I've ever tried out when they are new. The ventilation rivals that of Mission hockey pants and the protection will give Tackla a run for it's money. Dont' kid yourself these are great hockey pants. Their just not advertised as heavily as other brands.

I found a lot of Grafs equipment to be of just as high a quality as it's skates are and can compete with some of the best and most popular brands on the market. Nuff said.

Hate G500 pants! Was using a friends and I dove for a puck, landed on my hip and couldn't get up for a good minute or two. Great mobility, but sacrifices protection, and bad durability... Most kids on my team have them and they haven't even lasted a year.

From the looks of things the G500 looks to be low on the protection side, that's just from the look of both models in the pictures. G700's look to be pretty beefy. I've heard about the long length, for some of us that's a great thing! Thanks for the info

The 700's are the same cut or style as Tackla pants and more protective than the 500's. I've taken some good hard shots off of them and hard hits, and landed on my tail bone and felt nothing. I find their very nicely ventilated as well and the mobility is just as good as with my Tacklas. I have no problem recommending them.
