If you only knew how incredibly wrong you are with this statement.
HG might have one the contract for those sticks but seems like a waste of money to me. They'll be selling those things for a long long time and at the end of the day the profit probably isnt the best!

hahaha. :D

I dont care if they got those sticks for pennies... Those XVI's are garbage, if they can get rid of them fast then god bless um, more power to them. But if i had the money to invest in a closeout product, that wouldnt be my top choice!

You'd be a foolish business owner then.

What makes them garbage?

They are VERY blade heavy. For $40 you are better off buying a quality wood stick.

THe market for a stick like that DOESN'T want a wood stick, but will be thrilled to death to pick up a composite stick at that price. That's the whole point.

It's hard to find wood sticks at a good price so I too the plunge. I had been toying w/ the idea of a cheaper OPS and this deal came along. It's a lot lighter than a One40/55 or the Apollo or the Supreme for that matter. So far so good, I may have actually become a OPS convert so the bait and switch worked. It's not the wand it's the magician anyway.

That is only true to a point. If you are out of your comfort level with a stick, (flex, curve, grip, weight) it makes it a completely different game than the one you are used to.

True. But I feel like a tool sometimes because the two best scorers on our team last year used a One50 and an Octane with a wood blade.

JR and Defiant are so right about those sticks...

Skilled and journeyed players will not use those XVI's and other low price point sticks... Good players will find those sticks torque like crazy and are blade heavy.

The try-hards and weekend warriors in div 5 beer leagues will buy them because they are more durable than a wood stick and the player will not notice a difference between a good high end woodie and a bad OPS.

also Defiant couldn't be more right. If I was to log in to one of these shops and start buying, no matter what I want to spend I spend more to justify the shipping and customs costs. Tape, laces, stones, socks, apparrell etc would all be added assuming I had money to spend in the first place.
