Tore my new pants....where can I get them fixed?

Recommended Posts

So, the other day I was skating and caught a screw head sticking out of the boards. The screw caught my pants between the thigh pad and the belt pad and tore a nice L- shaped 3"x3" flap. If these were old pants, I would have no problem buying a new pair, but they are one month old pro stock pants....

So my question is as follows: To those of you who have had this happen, where did you go to get them fixed?

Waxed dental floss works amazingly well. It's thin and pretty strong and won't have to poke a large hole to get the heavier thread through.

Duct tape. It's the handyman's secret weapon. Don't scrimp, either. Any time I've used less than 14 or 15 rolls on a project, I just haven't been happy with the quality.

If you're serious about a nice looking repair, hit the shoe/leather repair. If not, I skated with duct tape for years on my old pants.
