Too Old 1 Report post Posted June 10, 2009 We have a family trip to Mankato this coming weekend and I'm curious about the drop-in there. I got online and it appears they have one Sat night from 8:30-10:00. Any feedback would be appreciated. The wife isn't happy as it would be a tight fit with us, the three kids, and my gear, lol. I think I can cram the bag in and may have to hillbilly it with sticks on the roof rack if I decide to play.
epstud74 24 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 What rink is it at in Mankato? did you try rinkfinder.com or hockeyfinder.com or what?
Too Old 1 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 Did a search for it and found it. And their schedule for drop-in and public skating. Only problem is I have managed to come down with the world's worst sore throat and cold in the last couple days. I'll probably sit out this weekend for playing as we have a practice scheduled next weekend before a tournament the weekend after that. So, it'll be a boring weekend in Mankato for me, argh. It looks like you are sick and won't be able to go though. If you don't mind driving a little ways, check out the Civic Center in New Ulm. They have a new rink there that might have drop-in in the summer.
epstud74 24 Report post Posted June 14, 2009 New Ulm is a neat town. Anyone ever see the movie "New to Town?" New Ulm looks nothing like that.
Too Old 1 Report post Posted June 14, 2009 Just got home. The wife's late first husband's sister was installed as the Provincial Director of the SSND. Very nice ceremony there and a beautiful day for everything.
