Help converting skates to rollerblades

A couple of questions.

Would I be better off using my old Bauer 7000's or 8090 style S9's. I think the key difference is in the soles.

Also, any suggestions for a chassie?

I will be skating mostly on the street and speed is my priority.

JJ, post this in the roller section. There's already a thread dedicated to converting ice to inline, in general, plus another thread about converting using sprung chassis.

There's a lot of people really knowledgable about what chassis fits on what skates the best, and how to best go about converting. They may not necesarily read the ice section as much.
