numberthirteen 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 Hi guys,A few weeks back I bought a RBK 4K out of desperation got a cheap stick as all my others were pretty much wasted. I broke the stock after 2 weeks (10 hours of use). I had a lot of problems getting a replacement as my local shop aren't the best (for a lack of better description) so went through RBK direct. After about 6 weeks I went back to the store to find out if the replacement stick had come, it had, but they'd sold it and given me store credit for 90% of the sticks original cost! (unbelievable I know). Using the store credit I got I bought an S5, putting the store credit towards it (the stock was £76, I got £46 knocked off so it still cost me £30).Just earlier today I broke the S5 after one week (6 hours) of use. I'm wary of taking it back through the store as a) I have no garuntee they'll do anything and B) it will take a long time to return if they bother to replace it.Should I go direct through Easton? The only thing I'm conscious of is that I've spray painted the green areas of the stick. But considering the stick broke at the fusepoint, and for the time I've had it, would Easton replace it? numberthirteen 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 Well, if the same applies in Europe for a STEALTH, then I guess it is eligible for replacement. My question was whether I should go through Easton direct...

stuie7 6 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 Seeing as you're from South Yorkshire I'd presume the shops in Sheffield?

stuie7 6 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 I guess its the shop at Ice Sheffield.I've been in there a couple of times (dont live round there), cant believe they'd give you a store credit for 90% at the prices they charge. Everything is very expensive (even for the UK), apart from the Cory Sarich pro-stock Mission Fuel sticks for £100 ($165 US) which isn't too bad for this country.. numberthirteen 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2009 I think the fuels are cheap because they came through Rod Sraich who plays for the Steelers...Anyway, I'm gonna head down there today and see what happens.
