So, is Matt Duchene a member here? You'd think he might be based on the way he identified Avalanche player sticks... It's an easy feat for us, but coming from a NHL Player is a surprise.

Hockey Co. owns two of the four most prevalent brands. Only Bauer, CCM, Reebok and Easton make every piece of equipment. Hockey Co. also set a strong base by having contracts with all these canadian Jr. leagues. By the time they get to the NHL they are used it. Usually the kids from colleges that get mostly Bauer stuff stick with the Bauer.

Yeah its fair to say CCM/Reebok have the junior and senior leagues outside of North America sewn up. I think the DEL has a similar deal with Reebok to that of the Swedish Eliteserien. Having said that, it doesn't make them any better and I cant imagin many/any those players would opt for CCM/Reebok should it have not been for the money. I'll be keeping my Graf skates, Eagle gloves and Warrior sticks, thanks all the same :P
