Warrior Franchise Narrow fit vs Eagle PPFi Fit

Recommended Posts

Anyone know how the narrow fit warrior franchises compares to the Eagle PPFi fit?....Is the warrior tighter fitting, shorter than the PPFi?...Thanks

I like my narrow franchises way better than my ppfi's. The width and length is about the same but the finger length in the ppfi's is alot shorter. I also think the quality in the warrior line is better than the new eagle/vaughn stuff. But thats just my 2 pennies.

I have a pair of MIA MB11s and a PPFi and my take is that the width of the MB11 may be slightly narrower, but the fingers are longer and there's more volume in the palm.

Good info so far. I think glove fit is like skate fit, everyone's hand will fit the same model glove differently. It is all in how you like your gloves to feel and fit at different parts of the glove. Concerning quality, I still cannot believe that Warrior Franchise gloves do not come with plastic inserts for extra slash protection on the four rolls. C'mon, at that retail price point, that has to be part of the package. The plastic inserts are standard, not custom, on Eagle PPF so I don't see how you can say Eagle quality is lacking.

I have a pair of the Eagle PPF and love them but I also like a more traditional glove with a loose fit, more along the lines of the bauer 4 roll and older CCM 4 rolls. I've tried on the franchise a couple times and have found them a little snug for my liking.

I agree with the plastic insert part, should definatly be part of the package...However Im using them for inline and beer league games at that, so the extra plastic isent really a big deal as Im looking more for a pretty quality glove with custom color options and a basic design....Who said Eagle quality was lacking?...I have had a few pairs of Eagles and loved every one of them...My only issue with Eagles is there custom order program sucks now, I dont have a local shop anywhere near me and I cant find anyone who is willing and able to order the custom pair I want....

I just got ppf's over franchise narrow's. IMO they fit very similar both have long fingers and snug palm. I liked them both but., Eagle has plastic inserts and are tuff tec. Warriors, no inserts with carbon. Eagle has better palm unless you get custom pearl mustang on warrior. Also ppf's are 165 compaired to 200
