Mr. Sticky

Does anyone have anything to say about the Mr. Sticky wheels? I was just looking at them and I think they are a pretty decent wheel for their price. Any help?

I recall them being a wheel with very good grip but not much durability.

I remember that they came out 10-15ish years ago. People must like them because they're still being made but the technology might not be state of the art. Kinda like the Ultra Lite shaft. They still sell them but it's not the best anymore.

Company's under new ownership though via Eschelon Sports. Shayne is on the board, you might shoot him a message to see what's been changed as I know one of the goals was to actually improve the products to compete

i use wicked sticky the green ones and they're ok. kind of slipping now after 2 roller seasons, for what you pay for they're pretty.

I had them a few sessions ago. They lasted a while but weren't grippy enough for me. I'm a speed guy and I found myself losing my footing trying to stop and turn quickly. But keep in mind I'm probably under 150 pounds with gear on.

I ended up switching Revision Platinums and I've never looked back.

They're like most other opaque wheels like a labeda gripper -- very durable, but not anywhere near as grippy as the more modern wheels. I'm using them right now because I tear through rear wheels and was looking for something that would last.
