I thought i just read that you got one or someone else got a steen curve in the octogun and it was super open...that's the exact opposite of a modano.

mmm maybe they changed it, it wasn't me can't use heel curves, tavares is close if you don't mind the mid curve part...lecavalier is prolly the next closest heel

I was at the store today and it didnt seem like a mid curve. I was holding it next to a rbk 10k hamrlik (which is supposed to be the new modano even though it had a bigger curve than the modano) and also compared them with the se16 zetterberg and tavares looked to be about the same. It has to have changed from the various blade charts that I've seen

ye i get you...lecavalier's like the lindros curve, changes so damn much, rather they make an entire new curve instead

I like PM9 a lot and find Recchi to be the legit replacement. While the two are different spec wise, Recchi is a pure neutral mid, it comes off exactly the same when shooting. Recchi is also close to TPS Afinogenov, but not a 3/4ths.

It is. The Steen has opened up quite a bit and now seems closer to a P91.

I ordered a U+CL from hockey monkey in a Steen curve. It's stamped Steen but is definitely a Doan curve. After calling them, I took pictures and they agreed that I was right. They said they are all like that and I'm getting an OV curve instead. But notice how no other sites have it in the Steen curve.
