Monty22 833 Report post Posted August 2, 2009 Wow, It's like hopping in the way back machine with Sherman & Mr. Peabody to the mid 1990's......I always used the underside of a door to curve them.
JR Boucicaut 3801 Report post Posted August 3, 2009 hobbes_#86 used to use the ProCurve and put the whole thing in the oven. She did it at my apartment one time.
Machinehead2k5 32 Report post Posted August 3, 2009 About 10 or so minutes in the oven. I covered the blade with a towel and just used my hand and foot to curve it. JR - How much do one of those go for?

IniNew 53 Report post Posted August 3, 2009 I assume you curved before the cooling process? Stupid question I know, just covering bases. Have you played with the curves yet? Are they holding up well?
Machinehead2k5 32 Report post Posted August 3, 2009 It's curved before I cooled it. The pitcher was filled with ice cold water. Yeah I played with the Syko shaft/Easton Hybrid blade tonight and got a goal off of it. If the blade feels a little flimsy I put down a very thin layer of fiberglass epoxy on it and I don't have a problem with the blades cracking/breaking. The black blade in the picture has a small layer of fiberglass epoxy on it. Plus it's like the 3rd time I've curved it, so over those three times it has become weak.Vince, thanks for the link.
