try a one95 naslund curve or try a slightly more pricier easton with a sakic curve they are much lighter and have a better feel imho. I personally have both top of the line eastons and the one95 i like eastons better.

It really depends on your budget. I know a lot of members have complained about it's durability, but I like my S17. It's by far the best stick I have owned. No issues at all, but I don't play ice hockey, only ball hockey.

From what I've read here, the One95 is also good. I have yet to try out my two piece setup.

These are both top end sticks, so they cost 2.5x more than the S5.

I use an S11 for ice, with a Sakic Curve, and love it. Just enough to get a good hold on a shot, but not enough to miss badly, which I have been known to do.

I fell in love with the Synergy ST's from about a year ago, and found a guy on eBay selling them for about $80.00 shipped each. Bought 4 of them. Now when those break, Im pretty much screwed.

Pro stock one95's are an awesome deal. I got mine for $100. They're on ebay alot. Check out Al's Pro Stock Hockey for pro stock stuff.

I used an AK twenty seven shaft/blade combo for the first time tonight. Total was around $150 with shipping. Very solid stick. 85 flex is very whippy and soft though. Great puck feel for a 2 piece. I highly recommend it.

I really like my Vapor XXXX shafts, i'd recommend them.

From another thread i figure you play at Queens Road?

I currently have a harrow blade in both my XXXX shafts and they are holding up really well on the same floor at Deeside (and also at Rotherham).

Your definately not gonna find much at Puck Stop, especially not without mega-bucks!!

Bumping this back up. I'm looking for the best stick, mainly for druability, around $100. It can be closeouts, pro-stock, or small name companies doesn't matter. I currently have an Inno MegaLyte, Robitaille curve and like that alot. Kinda looking for something with a toe / mid-toe curve if possible too. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

my favorite curve is the P34 madano so far. Im trying a Jovanovski from warrior next weekend (new blade) its like a lidstrom and i really like the lidstrom curve.

New stick i loved my rbk 8k but it broke, i would buy another one, but im not sure if it wil happen again, but im going to stick with warrior. Im going to try their new stick "swizzle". You cant go wrong with their dolomite or mac daddy. My old like 07 model mac daddy (yellow) is the only stick i have not broken to this day.

If you havent tried a wood stick before (i'm sure you have but just in case), dont dismiss them compeltely. I have tried composite, aliminium etc but always went back to wood.

Wood jsut feels so much more balanced, try a Sherwood PMPX9950 with a crosby curve.

As long as you look after the blade (re-taping and waxing lots) then it should last you.

Might not help your situation but it may help someone one day...

:)

I loev the p34 also, but my rbk with the p34 broke so I had to use my backup warrior with a jovanovski, love the blade, though my wrist shot suffers a little bit. I think the p34 is an overall great blade.

Id go with a rbk stick, any of them are promissing, I wish I had another after my stick broke.

easton stealth S17. the best stick I've owned. it cost upwards of $200 but if money is an issue get a 2 piece. At least that way it'll last you.
