Looking to buy new equipment

A little back story: I've played pond hockey for half of my life, and this year I finally signed up for intramural hockey at my college. I consider myself to be relatively skinny and to have a small frame and am about 5'11.

What I need are shin guards, elbow pads, shoulder pads, and pants; I have the rest. I'm mainly going to be looking at the low to medium-end stuff since I'm hoping not to spend a fortune on this (max $300 CAD). I know it's all about fit so I am going to go try some of this stuff tomorrow at http://www.sportsrousseau.com (they have a pretty big warehouse near me). Keeping in mind my body type, what are my best options? Note that I have never worn any of this stuff so what should I be looking for?

If they've got a big selection and some time, just try stuff on!

for that price range you should be able to get some decent rbk protective, its a fairly safe bet.

this is what i would do if i were you 180 for last years reebok 9k elbows shins and shoulders. its the same as the jofa stuff which is arguably the best protective gear

HM also has 15% off all easton protective gear so check that out if you cant find stuff you like, or just go and try it all on locally and buy it through HM and save a dollar or two.

Best bet is you could easily fit yourself for under your budget if you shop around. Especially if you don't need super protection. I just play in a beer league now and I've been down grading my equipment to lighter, less protective and cheaper.
