ccm v05 screws stuck

I just bought a ccm v05 helmet and i can't get the front screws undone to put my cage on. They turn a little bit left and right but won't turn fully. The screws have started to strip and they still won't budge. I've use a variety of phillips and flathead drivers with no luck. The same screws on the sides of the helmet turn easily. WTF!?!

Take it back to where you got it and explain the situation, they should exchange for a new one. if they don't call CCM and tell them the situation.

What happened is when they were putting the screws on the machine put them in too far, and striped them. the cascade bucket was notorious for this. happened on about half the buckets we sold. not a big deal, just frustrating when it happens to YOUR helmet.

I can't take it back before my game tomorrow night. I put a hs22 visor on it, but I'm really not crazy about playing with a visor. I'll just have to hope they take it back afterward.

Drill out the screw and put in new hardware.
