Suggestions for Graf skate fit.

Without having the chance to try on any Grafs at this point in time ( I will once I narrow down the options ) Does anyone have any suggestions on which Graf model might fit coming from the CCM V08 ? I am wearing a 6.5d in the CCM,I wear a 8.5 sneaker ( tight,but can easily wear a 9 ).I was thinking the 709 / G9 but was worried that the heel might be too wide ? perhaps the 705 / G5 ?

I was going to recommend the 705 or G5 to you because of it is a deeper and wider boot like the CCM. I think you definitely on the right track here and it may really depend on the type of foot you have. If you have a higher volume foot the 709 or G9 would definitely be the one to to go to if the other model doesn't work. You really need to get into a LHS that deals in Graf to be sure. I wouldn't worry too much about the heel because Graf generally have a slightly narrower heel than CCM or Reebok skates and a very good heel lock because they contour pad around your achilles tendon. Good luck and go with the one that feels the best to you.

MY old Graf rep used to say that 70% of all people fit best into the 70. Start there and try some stuff on

does it really matter what skate you had before? were you properly fitted in those ccm's? you might as well be starting from scratch.
