im absolutly right with you...but since i heard SOOOOO many people telling that the kick of the xn10 is incredible the vector has a 20 inch taper....I know there A LOT of gimmick but i think it still maybe have a small difference between a standard shaft and a tapered

i know it like the feel of the sicore or some other gimmick it in your head (if yur think your better with this stick you will lol)

let say...40% psycho

.............30% gimmick

.............but the other 30% maybe performance??

I heard a lot of people saying that it like impossible to break a tapered shaft/blade because there like no hosel and it pretty rare you break in half a shaft...i'm using a AIR-CORE (wood/graphite) and a z bubble and i feel like my z-bubble have a little more kick when doing a quick-release comparing to my air-core which is a a honey-comb and graphite stick(what i wanna mean it like...this stick has no special property just plain wood stick with no kickpoint)

I thought the vector was 18". The performance gains are minimal if any actually does exist. It is entirely in your head.

bulletproof_funk--i just think about it today at school when i was borring at the l-2 never think about it...the shaft look cool(red)non-grip(don't like synergy grip) good shaft shape nice flex...but how about the performance do it have a nice kickpoint???(maybe i'm wrong but i'M mostly changing standard shaft to tapered to feel that EXTRA kick that all compagny tell about so i whant a good performing shaft)

Unfortunately I can't answer the question of the L-2's kick since I've never used one nor read any reviews of one. It wasn't on your list of tapered shaft choices so I mentioned the L-2 as a choice to maybe find more about. BTW Mission Hull = Easton Iginla, Gaborik/Elias = Easton Modano.

If you are looking for 'kick,' I don't find much if any performance difference with tapered vs. standard when taking a slap shot. I find they feel different than standard shafts when taking snap and wrist shots because there's generally more shaft to flex (assuming you're using a low connection blade like Synth. and not T-Flex). I don't know of this extra flex necessarily translates into more kick, I just know I that like it.

anywayz...what i ask is opinions about shaft not about if i would have to play hockey or not....and if you look at my screenname you should know that i'M playing AA which is the best league in Quebec ...so i think i can play hockey

espoir is better then bantam aa, and the appolo is standard, i held it the other day. And witht he one piece, isn't it shaped so u can't fit a blade in?

Good one yglod11.lol

CobrAA the best shaft I've tried is the Commander, if I was you, I do order a Inno 1100 soft grip. And you would be the third(TheJackal, me and you lol) one in Québec to have Inno product.lol :)

Kovy !!!!

I live in terrebonne (near mtl) and i have OPS 1100 inno,GU Avery ops novius,2 novius shaft (blue and red) so he will only be the 4 th!!!
