Does anyone recall if the nike quest 1 was at the higher end of the quest line up or was it one of the lower entry level skates ? thanks

Yes, it was the top-end skate.

Are these the dark colored ones that laced really high and had the rounded tendon guard? If so, i still have a pair kicking around .. didnt wear them much though because i ordered ee which at the time was too much skate for me.

Highest in the Quest line was the Quest 1. The only reason I remember is I purchased the Quest 2's and constantly kicked myself in the butt for not spending the little bit extra to move up to the top of the line 1.

duch... I know what you mean. I bought quest 3 skates. They fit so well I jumped at buying a pair of quest 1's when they were on closeout. Now I wished I bought 2 pair.
