Anyone familiar with the true differences between the M2H2 plam in the PPF's compared to the combination of M2H2 and Nash Synthetic Leather in the X88's?

I hate nash palms with a passion. Why ruin a great palm like the MSH2 with nash?

It seems that the X88's are only offered with the Nash palm and M2H2 overlay and gussets. The PPF is offered with the M2H2 material throughout. The PPF fingers are a bit too long for me, but the X88's have a better overall fit. Any experience with the X88's in actual use?

The X88 palm isn't that bad. It's a thicker nash than other gloves I've had. It's got a soft feel to it, but I'd like it to be a tad thinner. Hard to know how it will wear, but the MSH2 overlay is on the palm and the thumb, the two high wear areas. The all-MSH2 palm on the PPF will have a little better feel and probably be more comfortable. My X72's have the MSH2 palm and I like it a lot more obviously, but the palm on the X88 isn't bad enough to where I wouldn't use them.

Have you tried the PPFi?

Yes, but the PPFi is 13" and bit short on the cuff. Doesn't mesh well with my elbow pads. The X88 is 14.5".
