Hoser 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2009 depends on if you get the traditional fit or the narrow fit.
grp 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2009 Being a very very fussy equipment person...I tried the franchises' a few guys on my team have them in 14" and 14"N, they are nice gloves but I would strongly suggest either the XXXX PRO's you know there the pros based on the nylon material or Eagle X72 if you want a short cuff or PPF if you want a more traditional cuffGOOD LUCK! sm326 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2009 I personally prefer Eagle PPF's, x70 or x72 over anything warrior. i find them to be alot more comfortable and the sloppier fit seems to work alot better at first. I did try on the AK27 Pro's and found the cuff to be alot more comfortable then the Franchise. Now if only they combined the AK27 cuff with the Franchise design. Dubbs 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2009 is the Narrow fit franchise similar to the XXXX Pro? I have the XXXX Pro and I love em, the palm has been holding up really well after about 2x a week on the ice for the past 10 months, although im not much of a stick handler and just use regular cloth tape on the end. uclahockey707 1 Report post Posted October 22, 2009 Yeah I actually just bought a pair of custom ppfs and my fingers were too long, so that really sucked and Im in the process of selling them on ebay. The gloves Im looking at are pretty much the BU vapor xxxx pro's from TSR and a pair of narrow nylon franchises and I was trying to get some ideas of how the two compared against one another. Anymore input would be awesome, and thanks for everyone who's helped me out so far.

grp 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2009 I found the 14 N a bit too tight for my liking the regular wasnt bad, but simply put not a wow or worth the money compared to the alternatives for the same price.
