Recommended Posts

there seems to be a variety of warrior dolomite shafts out there.

Dolomite, Dolomite2, Prostock, Green and Black graphics, blue graphics ect...

Prices are varied as well.

Anyone have insite into the differences between the variety of Dolomites.

Specifically looking for info on Warrior Dolomite Pro Stock Tapered Hockey Shaft (Blk/Grn)- Senior

clear, nipple grip, clear grip tapered standard

green-no grip however sometimes a clear grip My LHS has the Dolo stick and shaft green with a slight grip

blue- nipple grip, not the stickiest but IMHO just the right amount of grip. color change from 07-08. 07 very baby blue post 07 darker baby blue tapered shaft

red ak27 standard, non-tapered with grip

yellow black ak27 no grip standard. An oldie but a goodie

I cannot speak about the recent color schemes nor prostock options. I assume someone else will gladly chime in

It's going to be really difficult to give a general meaning to what all of the different types are based on graphics. From what I've heard, Warrior is very good about doing whatever a player wants so you could have a shaft with a bunch of different combinations that is one of very few.

Dolomite II is the retail name for the tapered shaft.

If you're buying pro stock it's a gamble on what sort of shaft shape and grip options you might get.

Go with what's cheap in the flex you want, as far as I know nothing about the Dolomite shaft has changed since it was an Innovative 1100.

All dolomite shafts are tapered, aren't they?

There are pro stocks that are standard, but are more rare and should explicitly be called out as being standard. Technically they'd be AK27 shafts with Dolomite graphics, but they're essentially two versions of the same stick.
