hmmm it says it should only be a week or so...hopefully he makes a quick recovery though.

on a side note, schneider and raycroft should do fine. they are both pretty good goalies. Raycroft played pretty well for colorado

he had an .896 with a pretty depleted defense core .

i think the 'nucks will be alright and he should be in top form by the olympics again...as long as it is only a week and not too much longer

It'll take more than a week to recover from fractured ribs. Bruised ribs take at least 2-3 weeks to fully recover.

I've got bruised ribs, maybe cracked, I didn't get it check out by a doc.

I got hurt 12 days ago and the pain is more localized now but it still hurts like a hell.

I fractured three ribs over the summer and was out for about 4 weeks. Pain was god awful the first couple days and sleeping was a no go.

He'll probably practice in a week without any shots and hopefully be back in 10-14 days. Either way it shouldn't hold him back from being ready to play in the Olympics in 4 months

Didn't see the game last night but a win doesn't sound so bad, especially if they kept kopitar off the scoresheet. By the sounds of it though Luongo will be back sooner than later, as will Sedin and Salo.
