Hi. Searching for a new pants. Currently using NB one90 and I think they are too heavy. What are the lightest ice hockey pants from latest? Thnx.

Kevin is correct. Girdles are probably the lightest you can go and have a nice close fit. Nike/Bauer pants are also fairly light but beware of the middle to lower end range of pants because the tailbone protection isn't the best. (IMHO)

+1, my mission pants were certainly light and mobile (fuel 110s).

One more vote for the girdle/shell setup. I just switched and feel a big difference in weight and mobility.

I agree with previous comments that girdles are lighter.

I have both Easton ST10 and Bauer XXXX core pads. Eastons are very light and hug your lower body well. Only down side is less hip and spine protection. Because of that, I bought the Bauers - better protection in those areas, also contours your waist and body with snug fit, but obviously you sacrifice a little weight. It's still not as heavy as most decent pants.

rbk 8k's, if you can still find them. I think that generation's 5ks and 6ks are also very light.
