Vancouver players: looking for beer league team to join

Hey guys,

I will be moving to burnaby area Jan 1st and was wondering if anyone on here is looking for a good skilled player? I normally play 4 days a week back here in Ottawa. I would prefer that it would be one of the leagues at the Burnaby 8 rinks as I will be storing my equipment there(will not have a car :( ).

Yeah, I only see their daily lockers but it never hurts to ask. Ask far as leagues go, I think only 2 play out of 8 rinks. ASHL plays there exclusively while ICE604 plays a good number at 8 Rinks with a few games at the North Shore Canlan facility. ICE604 plays about once a week (18 regular season) while ASHL I'm guessing has about 1 to 2 per week (28 regular season games).

just curious, if you wanted to go to pickup/shinny or stick time with that you'd have to give 24 hours notice?

played rep A hockey most my childhood. I played div 6 out of 12 divisions this summer in mens league and was leading team in points. I can play any position(but goalie lol), but prefer to play forward(L,R, C...doesnt matter). what league do you guys play in? anyways let me know, I will be arriving in vancouver around january 1st. even if its pick up hockey, I'd love to play. still looking for some roomates if anyone knows anybody looking for one??

8 rinks has bag valet. i think its $30 a month or something.

they keep your schedule and have your bag ready 1 hr before your games.

The service you guys are talking about is called Gear Drop. Several of my teammates use it. I would consider it if I didn't play at other rinks all the time.

I play in the ASHL on a few teams from Div. 1 to Div. 4 out of 18 or so divs. The Div. 4 team might need some help. I will ask the guy who runs the team if we need a player and get back to you. I can't help you on the roommate front though.
