Closest fit to a NBH 5500 Helmet?

I have a 5500 right now and it fits great but this thing is beat and actually looks like someone has been dragged down a highway on their head with it on. With that being said I need a new helmet and was just wondering if any of you have switched from a 5500 or know of something that will fit me, I previously wore a 6k and didn't like it so please don't suggest that. Also I'm looking for around the same price range

another 5500? The new Bauer helmets set to come out are supposed to fit very similar to the 5500's so its a matter of waiting, or snagging up another 5500 for now or for good.

It also seems that everytime a new bauer comes put it's bulkier than the last. I'm looking for current helmets for now

Try the new Cascade M11 helmet. Before it came out, I tried every helmet on the market and went with the 5500, only helmet that was close to fitting. But the M11 fits even better.

Those Cascades are like $120. Bulky, but nowhere as bad as the previous helmet

I went from a 4500 to a 5500, now im wearing a v10. The v10 feels great on my head and fits very similar, it is also tool free as well. Worth a try.

How's the 4500 compared to the 5500?

I think I've narrowed it down to 4500, 5100, or v08

4500 was way too narrow, 5100 wasn't as bad but still kind of narrow, I didn't try a V10 but tried a v08, can't recall how it fit other than it didn't.

i love the 4500....one of the lightest helmets out there...very popular with pro's too...

that doesn't really help, if the 5500 fit you real well most likely the 4500 won't fit you at all, easiest way is to get a 5500 or wait for the new one to come out, if you say its too big and makes you look at a mushroom, then why are you looking at the 5100 ;)

well he did say he narrowed it down to a few choices, and one of them was a 4500....

i tried my buddy's 5100 and it fits similar to the 4500
