Drilling skates...

Did a search, but the thread I found was from 2005 and the pics were all gone, so I couldn't see anything. I just picked up a pair of Flexlite 12's, and wanted to be sure I could drill drainage holes in the bottom just like I did in my old Bauer 6000's.

you can stick your finger in a 5/8" hole. your better off drilling 2 or 3 smaller holes. I wouldn't go any bigger than 1/4" and don't put them to close together.

Just do like Bauer does - 5 5/32" holes in a star pattern.

Shift1? I mean, you COULD...but since there isn't an insole, you might have some cold, wet feet. I wouldn't recommend it.

Why drill 'drainage' holes? Would the moisture get in?
