Can't get use to reg visors, what about tinted Visors?

Recommended Posts

If you buy tinted be ready for the hacks

If you slash or hack someone because they have a tinted visor you should just drop out of life

I wanted to try a visor before buying one. I have 3 visors sitting around that I don't use, thats why I was asking if a person could tint it just a bit.

I believe that it can be done with RIT Dye, but I'm not sure of what the effect will be on the anti-fog coating.

If you assumed i was talking about myself then you assumed wrong.

I was speaking in general, forgive me if I came across as attacking you personally.

Haha yeah I'm going to have to skate more just to keep my visor from fogging up. Hmm maybe I should try a tinted visor cause my eyes are light sensitive. Is there a way to tint a reg visor just a little bit?

Unless you're playing at an AHL or NHL rink with all the lights one, it's highly unlikely that you "need" a tinted visor.

I play in a WHL rink thats about 10yrs old.

But my eye's are light sensitive, I was on medication for 3 yrs that made them sensitive. During the day I have to wear sun glasses all the time. Driving at night is a mofo because of the on coming lights.

Sounds like you're one of the few people that actually need a tinted visor. The regular tint should be fine for you but they may get very hard to find given the CSA crackdown.
