Barefoot Supreme Skaters

Recommended Posts

Thinking of purchasing a pair of Nike/Bauer Supreme One95 skates. I skate barefoot and was wondering on how many sizes smaller from your shoe size you skate on?

I'm a size 10 in street shoes and a size 8 in Vapor's. My toes just brush the toe cap when I'm standing but sit back just a bit when I'm in my hockey stance.

I think it's best to get measured up despite you knowing your street shoe size.

My shoe size ranges from 9 1/2 to 10 1/2 (with socks) and my LHS only has a 6 1/2 skate in stock. The skate seems to fit me. I also like my skates very, very tight. The bauer brannock gauge says I'm a 7 1/2. I'm just worried about downsizing so much.

I wouldn't try to go with the skate just because it's the last one there, why don't you just try another LHS or buy online. That seems like a big difference to me, but if it fits somehow than I don't know? What size do you wear for your other skates. Do you like having a lot of room in your gym shoes and that's not your true size?

I also favor tight skates, but you have to make sure you're not sacrificing you're fit for these skates. Try what is available to you at the store and if you deem that they are a good fit, then go for it. If, however, you are finding your toes are jammed, then I would take a pass and look for something else.

I wear a 10 sneaker, sized into a 8 on the bauer gauge, endded up 7.5 one 95. felt tight before baking, once they were baked, they were perfect. toe just feathers cap. I used to skate barefoot, but tried the easton skate socks when breaking these in and have stayed with them. still feels good.

I have gone barefoot for as long as I remember. I wear normally a size 12 shoe. With my wide foot I am a 10 EE in my Vapor XX's

Wear a 10.5 or 11 in Nike runners (bowermans) and wear a 8.5D in one95 and one50.

That sounds like you're sizing down too much but hey if you can get your foot in...
