Blade/Stick Q for the guru's

Recommended Posts

I recently picked back up after 12yrs and am playing 2-3 times a week.

Question I have is I am noticing that the heal wear on my blade is heavy, and there is little wear on the center of the blade. I am currently use a 2piece Warrior AK27 w/ a Sakic curve easton blade. From what I was able to find it sounds like an issue with lie of the blade, would I be better getting a blade with less lie or change to a more mild curve to address the issue?

-Thanks

Thanks for the info. I dont need such a drastic curve, but didnt know which way to go.

I actually think the curve is tooo much, especially when recieving a pass and trying to keep a majority of the blade on the ice.

If you stay with Easton, try the Zetterberg or Heatley, depending on the type of curve you prefer.

Welcome back to the game. You are better off going with a lower (less) lie. Unfortunately it may be difficult to find that curve in a lower lie.

Draper's somewhat similar so that in a 4 lie(close to I five I think), so that is an option

I take it you missed this part:

I dont need such a drastic curve, but didnt know which way to go.

Even at a lower lie the Draper is still a big, open curve with a big rocker on the bottom
