Christian selling branded composite sticks now...

Recommended Posts

Ever since Harrow Sports sold the Christian Bros. Hockey name to a private party here in MN, they've only been making wood sticks.

Harrow clearanced out all the Christian branded sticks and that was that for composite.

Just saw on their Facebook page and their site that they are selling their own composite sticks now. One piece and shafts (don't see composite blades but hopefully they are coming).

Waiting for more details as far as weight and such but I held a prototype at the Lets Play Hockey show almost 2 years ago and they felt pretty good.

Not sure why I have such an attachment to the Christian name, guess being a Minnesotan has something to do with it....

Yes, Harrow sold the rights back to Christian Hockey (now owned by private group), back in 2008.

They actually closed the factory in Warroad and opened a brand new facility in Roseau shortly after that.

Obviously the composite sticks aren't being made there (guessing). Made in China I assume....

I'd love to see them make some nice composite sticks with old school Christian Bros. graphics.

Still a far cry from the 80s where they had almost 100 employees and made 1/2 a million sticks a year, but good to see the brand alive.

Here's their new factory in Rosea:
