Bauer one95

Recommended Posts

Just noticed Epuck has some One95's in C width. I've tried on the one95's in D and the forefoot and toe-cap had a lot of volume, would the C width help that? Is there a problem with have too much volume?

Thanks

The one75 might fit you perfectly. It has a little less width in the upper forefoot to the toebox. Any chance you could try a pair on?

No shops around me have one95 or one75's in stock in my size anymore. X60's fit pretty well in the toe-box and mid-foot but no good in the heel. I guess I'm narrow throughout. I was just curious of the C v D, how much that really changes things.

I got feet on the narrow side. Got me One95s custom in C/AA. I also got me custom XXXXs in C/AA. The One95s are definitely wider than the XXXXs. I think you should be fine in a C in stock One95s. The only thing I'd be concerned about is that, to the best of my knowledge, stock skates in a C width will still have an A heel. But with One 95s heel lock the chances are you'll be fine. Also the One95s are a tad longer vs. XXXXs. AFter baking the volume of One95s in a C width should give you a nice wrap around your narrow feet.

E-Puck and Hockey Giant - same company, hence same product(s)

Thanks Ivan, I take it AA heel are tighter than an A? Sounds like we have very similar feet, feet like my forefoot was swimming in the One95's (in D width). Though I remember getting "bauer bone" in my big toe on one of my feet.

Got the skates in, the length seems fine but I'm just having trouble getting my heel to fit in the back, so on one foot it's sliding out of place and moving forward and causing my toes to cram in the front. Will these fit much better after molding? Or would I need to go with a 9.5? I'm pretty sure they won't work as I've tried 9.5's in vapors and they are way too small length wise. I don't think I have a deep foot, I'm currently in a much more shallow skate.

when I tried on the same size vapor my toes really crammed to the front. I have heard that te one95's are about a half size bigger length wise.

Oh, I thought I heard they were a half size smaller. I think the size, length wise is correct. So I guess my only question is, will the heel lock improve after molding? It seems the heel area is so tight that I can't even get my heel locked in there and with the added depth it easily comes 'unlocked', thus making my foot move forward, if that makes sense.

If your feet are sliding inside the boot, the length is not "fine". The boot is too big. Molding the boot will not make the heel smaller or more snug in any area. The lock comes from having your foot (not just your heel) snug in the boot and not having room to move.

I mis spoke in saying my toes crammed to the front. I had to cram my foot into a 12 in the x60 and my foot fits perfect ina 12 in the one95
