Most comfortable and most flexible elbow pads?

Recommended Posts

In your opinion what are the most comfortable and more importantly most flexible eblow pads? I want something that is so flexible and comfortable that you feel like you don't even have anything on your elbows. I've tried on a bunch of elbow pads of all various types and brands at my LHS but I didn't really like any of them. I've been using cheapo Koho 4420 elbow pads but I need something better, they're very comfortable but it's kind of hard to move in them. I also don't want something bulky and something that spans almost the entire length of my arm, also protection is not a priority since i'm playing in a no-checking league.

Got any suggestions?

Thanks

I think something that might be looking into would be lacrosse elbow pads. I know a couple guys that ref in the WHL and they both needed something flexable and almost non-visable.

Jofa 9025. No upper cuff makes them very comfy and your shoulder pads should cover your bicep. Several members here use them.

Thanks, those look like just what I need I can't really tell from the pictures, but it looks like there are no straps or anything that go around your bicep and there are just two straps which go around your forearm, which seems great and exactly what i'm looking for.

I just bought some CCM 852s, and I love them. Felt great the first time I wore them, very comfortable, lightweight, great flexibility, and good protection to boot. The elbow part is covered with soft foam and a mesh material, and it doesn't stick out like Jofa or the old CCM elbows did.
