Mission / Bauer sizing Q

I'm getting a little confused by the new Mission sizing. Perviously, Mission sizes were the same as your US shoe size, so if you are a size 8 US shoe you would wear a size 8 Mission. However now mission sizes are 1.5 less than your US shoe, so if you're a US 8 you'd get a Mission 6.5 right? So how come on the mission site it says that current Mission users would only drop 1 size, so if you were a Mission 8 previously you would go down to a 7?

Anyway, what I need to know is if I'm a size 10.5D in the 2009 Mission Commander skate - what size would I need to get in the new Bauer RX60 skate?

I recently just got my commander se's, coming from a mission soldier black previously. My new commanders are 7D and my soldier blacks were 8D. I dropped a full size from the old sizing to the new. The new 7D fits my foot even better than my old 8D did from the Black line! Hope this helps.

The Leuitenants are from the Syndicate line, which was before the black line. The new sizing is only for the new SE line.

Syndicate>Black>SE. Therefore the Leuitenants will have the old size fitment.

the few years prior to the new SE line weren't true to shoe, that's why there's roughly a size difference instead of a size and a half. In my case I only moved a 1/2 size from the Black line to the SE line

Try to figure out your European sizing. I wear a 8.5-9 running shoe, which works out to 42-42.5 Euro size. Skate sizing is always a 41 for me. My Mission Fuel 95 ice skates were supposed to be true to shoe size fit also, but I ended up in a 7.5, which is a Euro 41. I find Euro sizing way more consistent, none of this up half a size one year, then down a full size 2.5 years later BS, probably the thing that annoys me the most for hockey skate companies

I think the sizing is confusing because they don't mention that they changed the sizing a few seasons back. Since Mission first came out (if I remember correctly), their skates fit true to shoe size.

Starting with the 2008 line the sizing was different.

I'm in a size 12 shoe and had always worn a size 12 Mission skate. Starting with the 08 line I wore a 10.5 though admittedly they are probably just a bit too snug length wise (should have got an 11).

I just tried on the new line and the 9.5 fit exactly the same as my 2008 bosses, just a bit too snug. The size 10 fit perfect (one size smaller than my ideal fit in the 2008-2009 line) so it is indeed one size down, but only in reference to the 2008-2009 line.

Is there a difference in sizing between Bauer and Nike Bauer?? I remember reading somewhere that Bauer boots is -1 to shoe size and Nike Bauer is -1.5 to normal shoe size..ok guys, can anyone verify this?

Are they similar in terms o width too? If I wear one90 9.5D do I have a shot fitting commanders black 11EE with extra socks for instance?

Mission definitely changed the sizing of the 2008 lines. They fit a size below your current shoe size. I wear a 10 shoe, 8.5D in Bauer/Graf/Tour, and a 9D in the 08 Mission Bosses.

what if I wear a 7 in ccm. what would i be in mission commanders Black series. ? would a 6.5 work?
