For the TPS OPS experts

Has anyone else used the XN10 chrome?? What stick in your opinion performs the most similar to it?

I do like my Bauer One95 P14 OPS, but I love my TPS XN10 Afinogenov as well. Extremely durable. Are there any other TPS sticks out there with the same properties and performance?

Adrenaline & adrenaline control are similar, it's essentially an XN10 with an extra wrap to make it more durable. I really think the one95 is pretty similar to the XN10 in terms of performance. It's the closest I've seen and about the only other stick I would switch to without an adjustment period.

Probably why I like the One95 so much.

How would a TPS Response R8 compare? Actually, what sticks do incorporate the use of XN10?

The only sticks that I know were the ones labeled as XN10, the Adrenaline (and control) and a Euro version or two that I think were labeled as XN10s. The initial R8s did not perform similarly in my opinion and actually led to a discussion with TPS about bringing the XN10 back. I do not know what changes were made, if any, to the last generation of the R8.

WOW! GREAT TO KNOW.

There is a hit to the performance, but it is still pretty close.

There are some R8's from '04 that were XN10s painted red and marked with Response Plus graphics.

Pro stocks ftw?

The xn10 and xn2 are similar right? What are the differences/ perks of your xn10?

Not even remotely close. The xn2 is mostly fiberglass and a low end stick. The XN10 is/was a high end stick with excellent shot performance partially due to the materials used.

Really? Because I'm in love with my xn2's. I absolutely love them. Of course, I'm a guy who used to take broken one pieces, and flip them around into two pieces with TPS 661 wood blades in the end haha. So I guess inally buckling for a cheap threepack of xn2's would easily excite me huh? Haha

A three pack of the xn2s is $50 cheaper than one XN10 was when it was introduced. And it was worth every penny.

Haha well I'll take the rest of the xn2's in the world then. I stopped worrying about getting uber high end sticks after my rbk o-stick broke 8 games into using it. So bring on the cheap sticks as long ad they're made by TPS, I'm fine haha.
