XN10=Sore Elbow?

Recommended Posts

I used to use Xn10s for the longest time, about a year and a half ago my stock of retails and a few prostocks finally ran out. Just a few days ago I found some prostocks with my ideal curve and flex and I scooped up all of them they had left. But, ever since using the Xn10 for the past week my right elbow (top hand) has been kind of sore and irritated after I get off the ice. I think its something to do with the sticks but im not to sure. I clearly do not remember this happening when I used them before and I do not think I hit my elbow or anything to make it feel this way. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is any solution to it, and insight is very appreciated.

Uhmmm send me the xn10s and I will examine them. :P

Are you sure the flexes are true to what you use? It could be that they are a little stiffer then advertised if they are prostock and it could just be problems flexing them.

If the sticks are much longer or shorter than you're used to, it could be causing this problem. A vastly different lie could also do it. In order for the flex to be causing it, it has to be pretty far above or below what you should be using to cause such problems...

Flex, Lie and Length are spot on to what I have been using. I love the way the sticks are performing I am just unsure about the soreness I have been having.

The thing is, im only 18 almost 19. I doubt ageing is part of the problem. And as for beating the bishop, I could have saw a comment like that coming lol but, that is not a problem haha.

What if you put a plug in the end and cut it off flush? The wood should dampen some vibration. This method is used often in golf clubs, but is usually put in the tip of the shaft.
