Oakley visor question

Recommended Posts

OK, so I'm having a similar question with both of my oakley visors. No matter what I do it's like they have a film on the inside of them. Think of it like the inside of the windshield of someone who smokes in their car all the time.

I only clean them with the oakley AFR solution and a micro fiber cloth, no luck though, can't get rid of it.

So I guess I'm asking if,

1) Is this a common problem?

2) If so, has anyone been able to solve it?

My visor is just scratched and beat up, but it doesn't look like there is a film. I don't use the AFR spray or microfibre cloth though, I just use a standard small towel and No Fog'n Way spray. I'm kind of like the worst thing for visors lol.

totally off topic but the 'no fog'n way' sounds like something else to me...wonder if they meant to do that. ;)

Have you tried washing the visors thoroughly??? I wash my Oakley with warm soapy water from time to time with a non-abrasive cloth to really clean it. I too use the Oakley spray when I am playing, although I have never had this happen. I would try washing it and see what happens...
