Bauer X:60 Shaft

Recommended Posts

Hey Everyone,

just wondering what your thoughts are on this shaft, I'm considering buying one, but haven't seen much talk about it. Hoping to get some opinions. I searched and searched but nothing came up.

Thanks

I had one. Just didnt work for me, I enjoyed my one95 tapered shafts more. I ended up selling mine. The shaft held up fine and was plenty durable (for the few ice times I used it)...just not for me.

I have one, pretty good shaft, durable and pretty good kick. Like DEATHTRON said, not quite as much pop as a one95 (one piece for my experience) but still a good shaft imo. However, the blade's been crap for the last twoish weeks ive used it being sick of my se16/wood blades breaking every week... <_<

I find I'm pretty accurate with my x:60 shaft/blade compared to my One95 OPS, but I think I bought too low of a flex for the x:60. It's been relegated to back-up duty. Might even try selling it.

Not to thread jack, but i recently broke a Ops X60, the blade cracked, on my 31th day of warrenty.

Its actually a flex 77 for intermediate.

Was wondering if i can replace the blade? i believe there is only Sr x60 blades avail.

Would it fit (taper blade) ?

opps forgot to answer the question. I love the stick. The lower kick point was awesome, it took me a few games to get used to it though.

Just grab a senior wooden tapered blade and make some cuts until it fits. Wooden blade because you can modify the tenon more easily than a composite. I did this method with my one95. Luckily on the first cut, right above where the stick broke, the blade fit :) . I also used some old easton pro custom intermediate blades which had a smaller tenon than a senior blade. Also how do you have a 77 flex intermediate? I thought intermediates only came in 67 and 75 for bauer. 77 flex for bauer is usually senior diameter shaft.
