Extended Length Pant Options?

Recommended Posts

I've tired of dealing with too short a pant in my One75 M Talls. I am considering the Tackla 951 Long & 2440 Long, Easton S13 Tall and RBK 9k (can unzip extra 1"). These are all around $100-$120. Higher end Tacklas and Hustlers are out of my price range. Does anyone have any experience with any of these in terms of quality and protection(I'd like something equal or better than my One75's). Also the difference b/t the 951's and 2440's. Websites I've read don't offer much info.

I had the same problem with my one75 pants in tall medium. I did purchase the tackla 951 long size 50+2(2 inches longer) and they fit perfect. I'm 6'4 200 lbs, 34 waist , with long legs .The tacklas are slightly heavier than the Bauers but its not bad. They take a few times of play to really break them in.I've had them now for about six months and they're still holding up quite nicely. Only downfall is that they are a little expensive. $130 at The Hockey Shop.

Out of all of the "long" options by the manufacturers, Tackla's are the longest. I spent one afternoon trying on Easton, Bauer, Reebok and Tackla; the Tackla's were the best, with the Easton's being the next best. I took a pen and marked on my knee how long each were and the Tackla was a half inch longer than the Easton's.

I'm not sure about the Tackla 951, but I have a pair of 2440 I'm very happy with. For me the 5000/9000 series has too much padding.
