I kinda want to throw a blade on this and give the lighter flex a try. I'm used to using Easton's in 100 flex and I want to ease my way into a lighter flex. Good start? Or is this thing crap? I'm not looking for high end performance, just something with a good feel that wont break anytime soon.

I think thats way you should go if you wanna try something new. $30 is a cheap price for a mid to low grade stick. I bet if you threw in a wood blade the stick would feel somewhat balanced.

Worst comes to worst, it becomes a backup/hack stick.

That's what I figured. I'm pretty sure I have a tapered wood blade laying around somewhere. I was just checking if anyone had some horror stories about this thing. Thanks dude. Any other opinions would be helpful.

They are a standard shaft though, just FYI

I don't know anything about those numbers. It strikes me odd that they would list shafts as "standard" and then mention the word taper in this. Throws guys like me off.

well from now on look at the numbers for bauer shafts. Pretty sure they're the only ones that use them. .620= standard and .520= tapered

Definitely a standard, just pulled a blade out of my buddies the other night. Like the others said, always look at the numbers on the shaft.

Also, the one55 weighs as much as a compact car.

Thanks that helps. Other than a few hand me down back ups, I've never actually bought anything but Easton.
