2010 Montreal Media Celebrity Hockey Marathon

94.7 HITS FM and Excellent Ice in Kirkland, are hosting the 7th annual Media Celebrity Hockey Marathon on Saturday, June 26, 2010, in aid of the Otis Grant & Friends Foundation.

With the support of local media, celebrities and NHL Alumni players, this event has raised $156,000

in its first 6 years and continues to grow in both popularity and scope. This year’s goal: $30,000.

Local companies are encouraged to support this event by making a donation to

play their choice of media or alumni team, or through various sponsorship opportunities.

Olympic gold medallist Charline Labonté, Kim St-Pierre, Caroline Ouellette and

Marie-Philip Poulin will be representing the Canadian women's national hockey team.

NHL alumni who have participated in the past include Shawn Anderson, Sergio Momesso,

Igor Kravchuk, Claude Lapointe, Danny Marois, PJ Stock, Bobby Dollas, Gord Donnelly, Wally Weir,

Glenn Currie,Norman Baron, Mike Gaule, Paul Brousseau, Stephane Matteau.

·Women's Olympic team

·Quebec all-star celebrity team

·48 hours of ice-time

·All for a great cause

All proceeds go directly to the Otis Grant & Friends Foundation

to help and better serve the needs of the people in our community.

The cost is 500$ to play a Media team or 1000$ to play a Alumni team.

It's all for a good cause, and at the team after party, you will receive more then what you paid for in prizes! :)
