Reebok Helmet Insert Stickers

Recommended Posts

If I remember correctly, these are made for the 4K helmet. I remember some guy bought them for his 6k/8k and they didnt take up the whole area. You could still see the silver around the stickers.

I wouldnt spray mine. Tape works awesome. I put yellow duct tape on mine and no one even knew it was tape

I have an 8k and bought the stickers from hockeymonkey...which I didn't realize are for the 4k. They didn't take up the entire space and as said before, you could see the silver and it looked terrible. I then used duct tape and it worked great. Electrical tape works too but you can see the lines.

I tore my 6k apart pretty much as soon as I opened the box and used black duct tape.

Ideally, I would use 2" black vinyl tape (essentially wider electrical tape, but a bit heavier duty), but I can't find it locally.

I did mine with some electrical tape. Worked a treat and looks great!! Really easy to do as well!.

I painted my son's 6k...the Reebok "gold" is actually yellow and his team wears Notre Dame Navy/Old Gold. Found some videos on youtube on guys that did the tape job, but again couldn't find the correct gold electrical tape.

Take out the 2 cage button screws in the back, take out the 2 cage screws in the forehead, open helmet to full open and the EPP foam liner should just pop out.

I masked off all of the foam epp liner with painter's tape and then picked up a can of Rustoleum for Vinyl/PVC from Home Depot in Pure GOld color...sprayed a few coats on and she was done...perfect match for his uniform.

Helmet goes back to gether relatively easy.
