Generally a 6.5D Vapor will have a size 254 holder.

That said, I've pulled the 254s off and replaced them with 263 C+ holders on my last several pairs with no issues whatsoever.

I don't have any numbers, but one thing you should keep in mind is the customization you can bring with that. Lot's of pros choose to use a shorter or longer runner to fit their preference. A shorter runner would give you more agility, in terms of quick starts/crossovers. Then a longer one would give you more out each stride, the longer blade translating into a bit more acceleration. If I change the runners of my skates, then I tend to like a longer blade, or one that touches the ice more, just for the speed.

My LHS (perani's hockey world) told me that the custom+'s would not fit the new vapor line. Cuz i wanted to do the same thing with my 60's. I found a post on here about dye'ing the holders so i bought new LS2's and dyed them and had them re-riveted on.
