Reebok Helmet Compatibility

I am looking to pickup a new RBK 8k helmet but dont like the face mask in the RBK combo. I have a Bauer 7500 and love that, would a Bauer 9900/7500 face mask work with the RBK?

I assume most any facemask would work in combination with most helmets (unless you have an old, green, Wayne Gretzkyesque Jofa). I personally have not tryed the combo your putting together but I don't think the difference in brand should matter. It might look a little goofy but who knows, maybe you start a new trend.

I have last year's RBK 6K and I have it paired with a 9500 cage, and it works great, no issues

My Bauer 4500 facemask fits my Reebok 6K helmet perfectly. I'm assuming the 9900 or 7500 are the same wire pattern so they should be fine. I still personally prefer my CCM FM480 Chrome facemask with my Reebok though.

I believe using the face mask of a different brand voids the warrant. I remember reading that, or something to that effect on here.

Theres a guy who walks around at his house parties wearing that very helmet with a DX100 itech visor.

I have the Reebok 8k and I use a Bauer Facemask and it fits just fine. Just take the helmet to your LHS and fit them to ensure proper fit. Also, I have no idea why a different brand mask would void a helmets warranty but is thats true thats weird.
