new retail ovechkin curve?

was at my lhs and noticed a new ovie LE U+ stick with a non drury curve on it. It's not his pro curve but it is a mid-toe curve, here's a pic next to my shanny curve(which it is pretty close in blade profile to, except a lower lie).

you guys got any ideas on it. wouldn't mind getting a u+cl with this curve on it.

kettler capital iceplex. wasn't too impressed with the stick. felt like a V08 with a new paint job and quite blade heavy. Really hoping they make a u+pro cl stick with the same curve.

yup. they just got it when i moved back into town. it's like the ordered it especially for me :D

I hope its not an SMU. That curve looks nice and it'd be cool to see that curve on a U+CL.

Hate to drag up an old topic but when we were at the LPH Expo in MN and ended up talking to a lady who makes Ovie's gear and she was saying that CCM's top end equipment is going to be identical to what they sell retail. After she said hat a buddy said jokingly while holding his pro stocl stick, that they should release this in a retail pattern. Long story short she pretty much said that is what CCM is going to do. Anyone know if this is true/still the plan?

I just bought a new u+cl retail ovi and it doesn't look like a drury at all. To me it looks more like a milder sakic with a flatter rocker. Maybe even less mid than the sakic. I expected it to look more like a drury but when I looked down at it, it was love at first sight!
