Tapered Blade for an Inno 1100

Recommended Posts

yea, then that happens to me alot. i have an inno novius. i just thought it might be because of a bad shot or somethin.

do the vector 110/120 shafts torque like innovatives? also how is the kick on them?

Used my Inno Kovy again tonight, this time with a wood blade. If I take less ice on my slapper, it's not as bad. The problem is, I hate having to change my shooting motion. Plus I lose some velocity doing that.

I have a Vector 110 and I found that it torqued alot. It forced me to change my shooting motion completely. They have a decent kick to them, not bad but thothng special.

Just a quick question that I didn't want to start a new topic for. I'm going to be ordering a TPS R2 XN10 today and was wondering, since I have only used wooden sticks should I get the whip or regular flex? I don't want the stiff flex. I think I could handle a whip flex since my style tends to be to pull it back and "whip" it at the net. Would you guys advise against getting a whip flex for a guy who has never owned anything other than a wood stick?

Its a Titan TSM that I got a couple years ago. I'd say its a 150 flex in Easton terms. You couldn't bend this thing if you were hanging it off a ledge and standing on it.

I have never owned a composite stick, because I have never played very competitively, but now that I am I need something way better.

If your using a 150 flex, I definately wouldn't suggest getting a whip, thats way too much of a change. Go with the regular flex, its whippy as it is.

I found that too, however, I think my vector had almost a good a kick as my Novius.

Any other opinions on the flex?

I won't be ordering my new stuff for another week yet, which is upsetting, but it gives me more time to make sure I get stuff I will be happy with.

If you're going from a 100+ flex shaft to a 70ish whip flex, you'll have to learn how to shoot all over again. The R may be an easier transition.

The whip flex is approxamately a 75ish in Easton terms, so thats a huge change. I'd say start with the reg flex and work from their. You can go up or down, but it should give you a good feel of what you'll want in a composite.

Have you ever flexed a stiff flex and regular flex before? If your using a 150ish, the stiff will be pretty whippy for you. I'd try to flex them.

I live in Iowa and here we don't have shops that sell good equipment. I'd have to drive atleast an hour. I'm buying all of my stuff online so I have to be sure I'm getting exactly what I want and what is best for me.
