Warrior Dolomite Intermediate.

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I've been a lurker on this site for a long time and finally took the plunge and decided to post. I'm a smaller guy and looking at possibly buying a Warrior Dolo intermediate shaft. The tricky part is that it takes a tapered blade.I asked the customer service about it and they couldn't give me a straight answer, but I know the gurus on this board can help me. My question is will it take a senior tapered blade? Or do I need to go looking for a tapered intermediate blade? Thanks for your help in advance guys.

IceWarehouse.com got the 09 Dolomite shaft in senior 75 flex for 70 bucks, if thats at all interesting..

I'm actually thinking about picking one up, but I've never used warrior so I'm not sure. Can anybody who own one, or used one tell me whether they are on the whippier side or stiff? Im probably gonna have to cut about 3 inches off the stick so I'm guessing its gonna be around 85-90 flex.

I know the intermediate 70s are a little bit stiffer than the Easton 65 flex, which makes sense since its 70... Id say they're flexes are pretty much on par with Easton and Bauer though.

If youre interested Phonak, HockeyMonkey has some Dolomite DDs and HDs in 85 flex for $100

I have one that I bought to replace my dolo 2 shaft. It feels true to the rating IMO

How does the 09 Dolomite shaft compare to some of the other "top of the line" shafts on the market? Worth the 70 bucks?
