waterproofing new skates?

i just got a new pair of graf 705. i was reading the warranty info and under the care instructions, it said to waterproof inside and out once every 3 months with a silicone based spray. i never heard of this.

That's because almost nobody actually reads the warranty info. I'm sure other skate manufactures have the same stuff under their respective warranties.

No, There is no leather in a One95 or TotalOne

it doesnt look like leather inside the 705 either. its that airnet liner.

felt ok tonight for a 1st skate. not as cozy as the clarino though.

Generic forum thrown in every box. That was good when you had 703s where it was reversed leather on the outers and the inners were leather.
