Tackla pants sizing?

Did a search, but could not find what I was looking for?.....so my question is, I am buying a used pr of Tackla advantage 900 hockey pants, and unfortunately I wont be able to try them on....They are size 52. I am 5'10...and 175lbs....with a 33 inch waist....I like my pants to fit a little big, but not sloppy, do you guys think these will fit me? Or should I go with a 50? I also have a chance to buy tackla 951 pants for about the same price in size 50?? Thanks for any help!!!

IMHO guess size 50 will fit better.

52 would be too big.

Go with the 50's. I'm about a 34" waist, and they are a little big on me. Even with the belt all the way tight they are a little loose. I use a lace around them to get them tight enough. You should be happier with the 50's.
